'Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

'The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car'

Sie haben die Freiheit sehr genossen. Vieleicht währe ein Wasserschlauch nicht schlecht für die reinigung der Pfoten. Besten Dank für alles! '

'Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, top Zustand. Neue Möbel. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Keine überflüssige Deko. Wir waren das erste Mal am Gardasee, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Keine direkte Strandnähe, aber dadurch, dass wir mit dem Auto waren war das kein Problem. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir eine Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern nehmen, für zwei fast erwachsenen Kinder ist die Schlafcouch nicht mehr ganz geeignet. 'We were two couples and one other adult, so used the apartment almost to the max! It was lovely, well outfitted and cozy. Just perfect for our needs. Wonderful location, we could walk into town. And our hostess was so responsive and accommodating. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes. Highly recommend!'

'Took the train/bus to Varenna from Milan. Check in was a short walk from bus stop. Apartment was a perfect location for our visit. Public dock was right outside the apartment. Ferry was a 10 minute walk. Apartment was spacious and nice. '

'Great house. Great space both indoors and outdoors. Great location. Each bedroom with its own bathroom. Perfect for family of 4 or 5. Lack of A/C tough when very hot. My suggestions would be some window covers (so easier to sleep in) and get some nicer outdoor furniture so guests can take better advantage of the 2 terraces which are quite lovely.'

'Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Blick auf den See. Bequeme Nähe zur Altstadt Bardolino mit Hafen. Viele schöne Ausflugsziele sind möglich, wie Verona oder Venedig. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und ist auf alles bedacht. Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus sehr gerne weiter.'
