The Editory By The Sea Lagos Hotel

"In the morning we had sun on our balcony, but the view is kind of weird. New villa's, one still being build and looks like a parking lot to be? It does have baby trees, which led to hearing birds or owls. The crickets sound nice too. The room was cleaned every day, which we appreciate very much. The ladies were lovely too. At the reception there was one women who replied very strictly, when we wanted a packed breakfast to go the next morning. But other than that every other person was friendly and helpfull. Not sure how the profession is called, a man standing next to the reception. He provided me a towel en slippers when I walked in from the pouring rain outside. I didn't expected that at all. Breakfast doesn't provide warm soups or rice. There are Portugese dishes like omelet, pastel de nata. I enjoyed the panecakes with honey, fruits (watermelon, kiwi, cantelope, blood orange, orange), pineapple or orange juice, boiled egg, traditional omelet and crackers with marmalade. The fitness room and indoor warm pool are small. The outdoor pool is better, when you want to swim in the morning. All pools are not deep, you can just stand in the pool. Don't expect a pool, where you can swim in lanes. Plenty of places to sit outside in the shade or sun and in the middle of the day it could be quite windy. It is October, might be different in the all day sunny months. I don't recommend to eat at Coral for dinner. Eat out for Portugese food at the beach or in the center of Lagos."

"Super mooi hotel! We hadden met onze dochter een familie kamer met 2x een 2 persoonbed. Hele fijne bedden en een heerlijke douch. Parkeren kan voor de deur, maar je kan ook in de garage parkeren en nummerplaat doorgeven. Het ontbijt was goed, maar kan iets beter. "
