'Absolutely everything you could need (4 hairdryers!) in a beautiful old cottage with views across the lock to distant hills. 300 yards to Coop supermarket, plenty of car parking, short walk to Inverary town centre. Comfortable beds and a very friendly, helpful host.I had a great time touring the Argyll area and staying in admiring the views. Nice garden and sheltered outdoor breakfast/coffee area. Perfect for me!'

'What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. '

'We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.'
