'Very pleasant stop at B&B as convenient for Farnborough Airshow. Very quiet with access to a garden and easy parking . We had a downstairs twin bedroom which suited us . Unfortunately it is a bath but with no aids to help climb in and out of the bath .
Lovely breakfast cooked to order.'

'Hotel looks fine, restaurant looks really nice. Room was very old and dated and without aircon which was troublesome given the heat outside. It was not promised so no issues and a fan was supplied. What was in stark contrast with the price of the room, was the price of the honesty bar. We had two glasses of wine and noted them, not giving it a second thought. Then at check out was charged £20…. For two glasses of wine… extortionate, and completely unacceptable. It’s called and honesty bar, but...

'Initially, the manager of this guest house was helpful and offered to set up the beds as two singles instead of a double, which was better for us. We had to pay £10 extra to check in 1pm instead of 3pm, but at least that helped with our plans for the day.
Unfortunately, during the stay we encountered a number of issues, the most serious being that we appear to have been bitten by bed bugs. Further issues included a strong mouldy smell in the whole accommodation (it was hard to let fresh air in...

'Rooms are old and have been lived. A lot of rust, broken furniture, bathrooms need a remodel. Hot water yes, very hot, cold water was hard to get as the shower was stuck on hot, almost burned myself.
All in all heavily lived.
Shops are close, free parking for up to 3 cars. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer.
But again heavily lived.
Free WiFi.
Beds are not that great.
Good for a night or two maximum.'
