'The location was awesome. Super easy to walk everywhere, fairly level to get to the Bazaar (which is rare based on what we saw). We walked to the castle as well, a bit uphill, but that’s true of every rental in town. All in all A++ for location. The dinner was absolutely delicious…there meatballs were incredible. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was great, super friendly. The room was a great mix of old and modernized. We thought Silver Hill was awesome. I’ve already recommended it...

'We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!'

'In over ten years of booking through Expedia, this is hands-down my worst experience. Kerculla Resort should be removed from the platform immediately. When we arrived, the property was an active, half-finished construction site with not a single staff member on the premises. Completely stranded, we could not even stay on the property and had to drive an hour away to Sarandë to secure last-minute accommodations for the night. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this property.'
