Penthouse view of the Caribbean with AC, WiFi, easy beach access!

  • Geniet van privacy en een uitzonderlijk uitzicht vanuit deze vierde (bovenste) penthouse-eenheid, centraal gelegen aan Half Moon Bay. Het terras aan het strand is een perfecte plek om de zeeschildpadden, scholen tropische vissen, visarenden, pelikanen en andere zeedieren te bewonderen. De wind komt uit de baai en alles is rustig en privé.



    De accommodatie biedt een volledig uitgeruste keuken met een magnetron, een koffiezetapparaat en alle apparaten die u nodig heeft om uw eigen maaltijden te bereiden of te genieten van hapjes en koude drankjes op het strand. Uit de keuken is de eethoek met zitplaatsen voor vijf. Vanuit de woon- en eetgedeeltes kunt u genieten van het uitzicht op Half Moon Bay via een muur van ramen en schuifdeuren naar het strandterras. Het terras is ingericht met hangmat en een tafel en stoelen zodat u kunt genieten van de wind en het geluid van de branding.


    Aan de achterzijde van het apparaat zijn twee slaapkamers. De grote slaapkamer is ruim en privé met een groot hoofdbad en een kingsize bed. In de grote slaapkamer is er een grote televisie met DISH Satellite-service. De logeerkamer is ingericht met een tweepersoonsbed en een eenpersoonsbed en heeft een eigen badkamer. AC in slaapkamers en woonkamer.


    Luna Azul is een van onze favoriete condominium-eigenschappen. Het heeft een geweldige centrale locatie op loopafstand van Akumal's Yal-Ku-lagune, restaurants en andere diensten. Het management hier is uitstekend en zorgt altijd goed voor onze gasten.

Loved it!!

Beautiful beach with snorkeling right out the front door, comfortable condo for a family of four with a kitchen, walking distance to restaurants and driving distance to some amazing Yucatán sights!

Amazing location

We loved our penthouse condo. We had sunrise over the ocean and sunset views every day. The location was perfect on half moon bay, close to restaurants and the lagoon. I’d stay here again for sure!!

Beautiful location! I was sick for the entire trip so I hung out on the balcony a lot. View was incredible. The only bummer was the amount of stairs to get to the condo.conamount of stairs to get to the condo.

Luna Azul was adequate but a little run down compared to other places we have stayed on Half Moon beach. Also wish you would prohibit smoking even on the balconies abs verandas. It wasn’t pleasant to sit on the beach and have all of the residents of the unite on the first floor smoking non-stop right behind me every day!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed for 3 nights over a weekend in early June. Overall, the condo was comfortable and had what we needed. However, the currents seem to bring the sargassum in the bay right to the building. The grounds crew only cleans it up occasionally, making the beach and patio areas unusable. (Other condos on the bay clean their beaches much more frequently.) Apparently, property owners know this because we were the only people in the entire building. I realize that the management company can't control the currents, but they could have cleaned up the sargassum more regularly or been up front about the fact that the beach is unusable during the summer.

Great Location on Half Moon Bay

Well-equipped, clean and with one of the best views of the bay. Quiet, east walking distance to town and restaurants. Very pleasant helpful staff. Only drawback is no closet space or drawers for clothing, except small chest of drawers in second bedroom - odd for such an otherwise well equipped condo.

Great vacation in Akumal

We enjoyed our stay in Luna condominiums in Akumal. The property is right on the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Akumal offers an ambiance of calmness in the touristy region.

Amazing retreat

This building is perfect. The views from the balcony and even the staircase are gorgeous. Everything was comfortable and clean. There were some very minor issues (sliding door lock didn't work, water seeped in under the door when it rained) but the property management crew took care of everything immediately. I have absolutely no complaints!

Akumal Direct was excellent to work with, especially David Placencia. He did everything from finding us tennis courts to getting us covid tests. Also Sunshine management was very nice, especially Alex.
