There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.'

'We had an amazing time at Nikte. It is the perfect place to relax as you feel somewhat secluded but are still close enough to little town centre. With steps away from the beach we could even hear the waves crashing from our bedroom. The pool was a huge plus as we were travelling with our toddler and a 9 month old. 'Michaela’s house is absolutely wonderfull, the appartement has everything you need, the snorkeling and supping is perfect, just in front of the house. The pool is nice for the kids and the complimentary reef shoes, snorkeling gear, beach toys for the kids etc is reallifesoap comforting. On top of that: Nice to have your house cleaned every day. Only critical point I can think of is the price of the house: as we were in low season in early May, the value for money was perfect, but in high season...

'My husband and I stayed for three wonderful nights. The condo was well-equipped. Although we did not really cook, it appeared to have everything needed should you choose to cook. The water supply and ability to make ice was a definite plus. We also appreciated the variety of games. The seaweed was expected, but not a problem for us. The water shoes that were supplied made it easy to get passed it and over the rocks to enjoy the beautiful clear water! Although a bit snug for my husband's size...

'This condo is in a quiet area, at the end of the road. Right across the street from a national guard post, so we all felt super safe all week! The condo is perfect! The sound of the waves heard all day long, plus balconies off both bedrooms. The pool is great for cooling off and the snorkeling right off the beach was awesome! 'We stayed for 2 days in Tony’s property. It is right on the beach and there is an adorable open bar called the Beached Bikini next door. Fish tacos are amazing. The interior including wall paint, decorations and kitchen are in need of an update. But, the bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the view is amazing. 'Lovely condo that is accurately described in the listing. You can tell this is a second home for the owner with the nice amenities and extra supplies of spices and toiletries. Only complaints which was minor is the low water pressure in the shower but that's part of living near water.'

Bed was extremely comfortable, view of the ocean was beautiful, kitchen was well stocked and the concierge was very helpful in setting up additional activities for us.'

'What a great place! Top floor (3rd) with a great view of the beach, surf and palm trees blowing in the wind. Pleasantly furnished throughout, with plenty of space for a comfortable stay. There were seven of us gathered for a family retreat including a lively one year old. It was a perfect location for our gathering. Condo is very convenient to restaurants and other activities. We have rented different places in Akumal over the years. This has been my favorite.'
