Located away from the crowds at the northern point of Half Moon Bay, La Sirena is quiet and peaceful. Some of the best views of the bay are available from here. The La Sirena property centers around an enclosed garden courtyard. The two bedroom condominiums enjoy a full ocean view on the sea side and lovely cool garden view overlooking the courtyard to the interior. The garden courtyard centers around a large swimming pool that includes a full lap lane.

Sirena 14 is a third level (top floor) unit overlooking the shoreline and beach area. High ceilings and a spacious floor plan help to create an easy airy feeling within the unit. From the main entrance you will arrive at the open living space that includes a dining area with seating for four, very large kitchen with ocean view and breakfast bar and main sitting area. The sunken sitting area is just a few steps down from the main entry level, creating the unobstructed ocean view from rear to front of the unit. The living area is comfortably furnished with built-in section sofa and is cooled with a large and quiet operating mini-split air conditioner. Glass doors off the sunken sitting area take you to the ocean side terrace that is well furnished for enjoying the view and breezes. This is a perfect spot to take it all in during the early morning and evening hours.

To the rear of the unit are the two bedrooms.

- The master bedroom is cool and restful. It is furnished with a king bed enjoys a garden side terrace and private bath.

- The guest room is also furnished with king bed and has a garden side terrace and private bath.

Both bedrooms enjoy pillow top mattresses and are cooled with quiet and efficient mini-split air conditioners.

Quiet and peaceful

Exactly as pictured! We spent most of our time on the balcony or snorkeling just off the beach (an unexpected benefit). The community was a bit quieter than we anticipated, but some great restaurant close by, and can’t beat the proximity to YalKu! A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Incredible condo with stunning views

We loved staying here and enjoyed all the activities of the Yucatan peninsula. The best part was walking out the door and snorkeling in gorgeous Half Moon Bay. This is a beautiful condominium with colorful, well-maintained gardens and a lovely pool. We'll be back!

Far from the crowd, beautiful views

Loved the view of the ocean from this condo. Lots of space. The pool area was also very clean and nice to have as the ocean is very shallow and rocky by the condo. The condo building has gorgeous well maintained gardens. The condo has a lovely deck but the birds were very upset when we used it (must be a nest close by.) The condo is an over a mile from town. We rented bikes which helped. A couple of things to note: the sliding door needs a handle for ease in opening. The stairwell could also use a thorough cleaning but otherwise we highly recommend.

Beautiful!

Would definitely recommend. It's in a gated area that is very safe, with restaurants within a short walk, and more within a short driving distance. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff was friendly. Reef snorkeling is right outside and we saw plenty of sea life: Corals, colorful fishes, barracuda, and more. There is also Lagoon Ya Kul that is a short walk away with plenty of fish as well. This is a dream location for snorkel lovers!

Amazing view

Wonderful area to stay, largely sargasso free because of the shallow reef and the currents, which keeps this rather rocky end of the bay clear, as is most of the snorkeling part of the bay. Good news is that a barrrier was being put into place as we were there to hopefully block the large pods of sargasso that has been affecting so much of the coastline in recent years. La Sirenas also has wondrful gardens around their large private pool, as well as their private oceanside raised sand beach, which is always seaweed free. We have stayed in this area many times over the past 20 years and it is always a pleasure to return. Now if I just had better knees to climb all the stairs!

Perfect spot in Half Moon Bay

My husband and I loved staying here. The unit is beautiful and spacious, room for a family or two couples if you wanted to share. The grounds are lovely, the beach front is quiet and you have snorkelling right at your doorstep in the protected bay. You can walk to a few restaurants near by if you want to eat out, or buy some groceries on the way and cook in the full kitchen. Great for entertaining. The lagoon is walking distance away as well. You need to pay to enter, but it would be a great day activity with a young family. Mayan temples near by and the town of Akumal.

Beautiful, spacious condo with great views

We loved our stay here. The condo has a wall of windows so the views were magnificent. The large patio is covered. We spent lots of time out there watching sunsets and star gazing. We were just two people but enjoyed having the extra bathroom. The kitchen is large and very adequately supplied. The wall of the master bedroom can fold open so you can enjoy the view from bed. The pool was perfection: quiet and cool, a slice of heaven after the heat of the beach. The beach is small and private, we were often alone. Half Moon Bay is gorgeous, but very rocky and the current can make snorkeling difficult especially when it's windy. Water shoes are a must. The complex manager was terrific and very helpful. There were a few small negatives, none of which seriously detracted from our stay: the wi-fi didn't work and we had to pay an additional fee on our cell phones to get internet access. The satellite tv didn't work until part way through our stay. The living room furniture is somewhat uncomfortable. The windows leaked during a pure-dawn thunderstorm. The master bathroom has a beautiful large shower, but not tons of toilet privacy. The flights of stairs to the top floor got old fast, but were especially difficult with suitcases. The area was awesome and exactly what we were hoping for. We rented a car after we arrived in Cancun and were very happy we did. Best shopping for food etc was in the Chedruai, one North and one South of Akumal. Great snorkeling in Akumal Bay. Do not be fooled by the aggressive hustlers at the main beach entrance who try to tell you that you can only snorkel in a guided group. Best to avoid them by going to the side near Akumal investments and the restaurant. Enjoy lunch or drinks on the beach at the restaurant. Bring your own snorkel gear or rent at the dive shop. You will see turtles, fish, rays, etc all on your own. Try to snorkel early or when the water is calm for best visibility. Go out in front of the Secrets resort beach. Great restaurants nearby-we miss the La Buena Vida which we visited every day for either a meal or drinks and dessert. La Lunita was great. We'd recommend trying all the local places. Not a bad one in the bunch. The other tip we received was to look for small roads on the beach side of the highway. These often lead to gorgeous beaches and often a family has a house near the entrance and charges a small amount of pesos to drive down the road. We always felt safe & found several spectacular, quiet beaches
