'Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Château de Villars.Personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable.Côté restauration, le chef Benoît Gaucher s’est déchaîné aux fourneaux et nous a régalé pendant 4 soirs montrant une grande inventivité.Ses linguine aux truffes resteront gravés dans notre mémoire.'

'Very exciting staying in a real old chateau, but with the facilities of a very thoughtful full restoration with modern comforts such as a/c, floor heating and huge and beautiful private bathrooms. The site is also very pretty, a large estate well landscaped. Last but not least, Jennifer was a great hostess.'

'Superbe séjour'

'very well furnished house for a large group. With friends and family staying in the vicinity, we were able to have up to 25 people for a dinner or a lunch without too much effort. Everything is very simple, but in the winter with all the coats and shoes, we lacked space to put things away or hang them. The heating was barely coping with the vast spaces, luckily it wasn't too cold. The kitchen is fantastic, and overall we had a great Christmas time.'

'We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.'

'Nous avons passé 10 jours extraordinaires entre famille et amis dans ce chaleureux et superbe lieu. Quel endroit idéal pour être au calme, se ressourcer dans la nature mais aussi pour passer un moment de qualité à plusieurs. Les beaux et spacieux espaces laissent à chacun libre choix de se laisser porter au fil des pièces et de leur différentes inspirations.Nous y reviendrons sûrement pour y avoir vécu d’inoubliables souvenirs !Merci Guillaume de nous avoir aussi bien reçu!'

'Maximale privacy. Rustige omgeving. Grote kamers. Goede uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes. Heerlijk om buiten te kunnen eten. Zwembad is ideaal, alleen jammer van het veel te hoge chloorgehalte in het water.'
