Acorns Resort

We have stayed at this property in the past and the quality was much better. The carpet and woodwork are worn. There was a lot of rust around the metal door frames. The shower leaks water all over the bathroom floor, because the drain was clogged. The other annoying point is their additional charges. This property is located next to Kansas State University. There is no street parking near the hotel. The hotel charges $18.50 per night for parking. This is ridiculous. I have no idea where they expect their customers to park, but charging and additional for a service which is normally included with other hotels seems excessive. Also, the sign is posted $17.00 per night, but I was charged $18.50. This will be our last time staying at this property. The only positive was the front desk staff. She was extremely helpful and worked to accommodate our needs.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were super nice and helpful. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was non existent.
