'This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit'

'We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. 'This is a gem of a place - outstanding service, very clean room and bathroom. The room is small but very comfortable. Nice touch that they had turned on the AC well before my arrival, so the room was cool. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, to include tasty local fruits. And the price was unbeatable for what I received in return. I wished I had time to stay another night- alas, this was not within my travel itinerary. '

'There is not much to do in the direct surroundings of the hotel and therefore you must always take a taxi or tuctuc.. food is excellent, although the waiting time is relatively long. We had a room without sea/pool view big we didn't expect to be overlooking the trashbins.. Staff is very eager to help, would be better if they would be a little more in the background. 'Das kleine sehr nette Hotel hat eine wirklich super Lage direkt am Meer und zusätzlich noch einen Pool direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß erreicht man alles was man braucht, Lokale und Geschäfte. Wir können das Neevana unbedingt empfehlen.'

'Fantastic 150 year old house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. Furnishings are beautiful. Great pool. Great breakfast. Great caretaker, Mohan, also a very good chef preparing dinners for us. The owner stopped by and was extremely helpful. '
