'Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil.
Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt.
Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden.
Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf.
Im Zimmer ist ein modriger Geruch wahrzunehmen der ohne einschalten...

'Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels.
Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation.
Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. Won’t be booking with them again.

'Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water.
The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable.
The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access.
We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

'Nous avons séjourné seulement deux nuits pour découvrir la région mais nous avons adoré le lieu et surtout l’atmosphère relaxante et cosy du Jungle Village. C’est une expérience très agréable, les chambres sont vraiment spacieuses et agréable avec une vue sur la canope. L’environnement de l’hôtel nous a ressourcé et relaxé le temps de notre séjour.

'We had a wonderful time and the highlight of the stay was watching the sunset from the infinity pool. The rooms were spacious with a super comfy bed and pillows. The buffet breakfast and evening meal were plentiful and tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The manager was always available and so kind. All the bar staff were delightful. Mahinda, Ashoka, Kaveesha, Sumithra, Jinuka. Thanks for a fabulous trip.'

'Dit hotel is absoluut geen aanrader. Het bed zat vol met beestjes, het eten was zwaar tegenvallend en het hotel slecht te bereiken ivm feestdagen. Hier was niet over gecommuniceerd en er werd ook niets geregeld door het hotel. We moesten door zand en achteraf straten lopen waarbij we ons niet veilig hebben gevoeld. 'Fijn hotel, we kregen bij aankomst een upgrade naar een hogere verdieping waardoor we prachtig uitzicht hadden over de Oceaan. Het zwembad is heerlijk en heeft ook stoelen met een mooi uitzicht. Daarnaast hadden we zowel ontbijt als diner in het hotel en dit was erg lekker met voldoende keus (was a la carte en geen buffet). In de buurt liggen mooie strandjes en de stad Galle is goed bereikbaar. Zeker een aanrader dit hotel'

'Terrible hotel experience. Room was dirty on arrival. Asked for it to be cleaned again but was still dirty. Trash in the shower, dirty bed sheets and towels, hair in the toilet/sink/floor. 'What a truly exceptional hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were truly fantastic with our 3yr old daughter. In particular Udaya went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble at all. Our only negative was that we didn’t stay here longer!
