'This is obviously and old, established hotel that was probably in the upper echelon in its heyday. It is very clean; staff is extremely pleasant and price was quite reasonable. Close enough to Wisconsin Dells while avoiding Wisconsin Dell prices. There is no water park, which is okay, you can find many, right down the road. 'Had a wonderful time just north of The Dells a wee bit. My wife and I highly recommend The Lodge at Mauston! If you’re looking for a getaway just a short drive from southern or central Wisconsin, or wherever you’re from. Go to the nearby state parks and roam around the countryside or visit The Dells.
