Kastelen in Zuidwest-Wisconsin

'The hotel was located in a lovely rural area. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made recommendations of places to eat and even followed up with us afterwards to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. Would definitely stay again if we ever return to this part of Wisconsin.'

'Clean rooms friendly staff'

'We reserved a “suite, king bed with sofa bed”. This room was definitely not a suite, maybe it was at one time, but there wasn’t even a sofa even in the room. The carpet was torn and the mold smell was very strong. The lampshade was also covered in mold. 'We really enjoyed our stay! We had the 2-room suite, and it was perfect. Clean and neat. It felt like we were at home. My daughters and grandson felt the same way. The pool and hot tub were nice, too. Highly recommend.'

'Showing signs of age, but clean and comfortable.'

'The last time I stayed at this motel it was pretty good. Not so the second time. The hallway stank of vomit. The room simply smelled bad. There was dirt on the floor of the room. The motel staff couldn't be bothered to get up from a couch in the lobby to hold the door open when I was trying to get through with a luggage cart.'

'I liked the rustic look. The only thing I didn't like was the banging of the door when individuals headed out to the firepits. It shook the whole wall where my headboard was located.'
