'Upon checking in we were informed the elevator was broken and there were no ground floor rooms. My wife had suffered an injury to her foot and couldn’t climb steps. I asked about the non refundable reservation and was told that since it wasn’t our fault the reservation had to be cancelled we wouldn’t be charged. They didn’t have a room we could use. We obtained a room next door at their sister property(clarion). However, we were charged for this motel, and they have refused a refund. We even...

'Everything was clean in the room. You can tell they are doing a lot of repairs on the rooms as it was a bit of a construction zone. The staff were nice'

'The only problem that we had with the room was that the refrigerator needed to be cleaned. The gentleman at the front desk came and took care of that for us. Overall, a clean room and a comfortable bed at a low price.'

'The room was clean. The staff was excellent. I like the location. It diminishes the traffic noise. Nice hiking trail nearby. I love the fact that they are dog friendly. Only a couple of minor issues: The thermostat on the A/C unit did not work. No matter how high I set the temperature, the unit never shut off. No problem. I just turned it on and off manually. The tub could be replaced. It was functional, but it did not look too nice. Not a problem for me, but some guests might not like that.'
