'Found this great spot just a 25-minute scenic motorcycle ride from the Barber Museum. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. While it's an older hotel, the rooms and property are well-maintained and spotless. The area has plenty of food options, including the excellent Flying Biscuit for breakfast. We were very happy with the fair price and location and would definitely stay here again.'

'This is a wonderful property. Beds and living room/dining room space was very comfortable. Our favorite place and reason for booking was the outdoor covered sitting area, the table and chairs facing the water and the peaceful nature of the proximity to the river. My sister was having cancer treatments at UAB Kirkland Clinic and this was the perfect place for us to relax and rejuvenate together. We rested and visited and enjoyed our precious time together.
