'Nice hotel with a beautiful onsen at the lobby. Nice restaurants and lobby. Very friendly staff. Two times a hour Free shuttle bus to and from Kyoto station. Nicely spacious room. Clean bathroom. Beautiful hotel. '

'This boutique hotel had exceptional service, the team was lovely and the complimentary mini-bar and snacks was definitely a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The little piece of Nintendo history also made the stay even more special. It was also nice to be in a quiet neighborhood but still be close to the city and busy areas. The library and open bar/self-service bar was also great. It was like coming home every night and everyone felt at ease and comfortable....

'Nice renovated traditional house, 1 JR train stop near Kyoto station. Very clean, convenient. Improvements: 1. please remove the wood planks that shrinks the entrance for no reason. It's ugly and literally 50 cm wide: if you're fat, you cannot pass through the doorway and enter the house. 2. Change plastic tableware for ceramic, microwave smells burn, maybe add an induction cooker. Overall nice place to stay in Kyoto.'

'Fijn hotel dat rust uitstraalt. Het ligt wat ver van Namba, maar dat vonden wij niet erg. Namba is hectiek ten top, en dit hotel ligt in een rustiger gebied. Daarnaast zit je vlakbij de metro/ trein. Dus je bent zo op andere plekken. Het ontbijt is verder ook erg goed. Wel was de stenen vloer in de kamer een beetje geleefd/ leek vies te zijn. Daardoor krijgt het hotel geen 5 sterren, maar het zit er dicht tegenaan. We zouden volgende keer weer gaan. '

'We loved the staff and hospitality at Momijiya. My husband said it felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. We loved the ryokan experience as well. We really felt we were getting a more intimate Japanese experience. The food really put us Americans out of our comfort zone, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Our rooms were quaint with nice view, and the comforters on our futons were incredible comfortable. Like sleeping inside a warm cloud. This is a great spot to feel...
