'Beautiful site. The cottges were ok. It was to warm inside, because the heating was permanent on 20 degrees. The lightplan inside was not so good. And not sustainable. A little upgrade is necessary. But nevertheless, we had a nice time!'

'Terrific stay, and a wonderful home base for a couple of nights within the Golden Circle area. We loved being based here and then being able to go out in the evening to visit sites like Gullfoss and the Geysir area (just 45 mins away) when they were not crowded. The place itself is modern, spacious, and very well kept. Loved the outdoor grill, hot tub, and comfortable beds. In our view, this was far better than staying at a hotel.'

'Cottage is located close to commercial/industrial area and a golf course. Nice view. Stayed there for one night, 4 persons (3 adults and a teenager), which worked quite well. There's a grocery story, pharmacy, manned gas station and Thai restaurant/take out place within a couple of kilometers. Clean, new, well-kept cottage, but not super large - it worked really well for a one night stay and could have worked for a night or two more, but not for a longer stay. There's no onsite reception or...

'Definitely a place to consider if you want to stay for a few days. Amazing high end finishes with all you need for an amazing stay. Confortable bed and double sofa bed, full kitchen, big bathroom with comfy shower and even a Tesla charger included for the price of the night. And it has a small shop cottage with a trust honor system and a cash box. Would go back again for sure!'

'I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. '

'We absolutely LOVED this cottage. Definitely our favorite of all the places we stayed in Iceland. The house was cosy and clean. The location was beautiful and we even came home one day to sheep in the front yard :). Can't recommend it enough.'
