« We stayed here for one night before heading to the sand dunes and it was ok. I didn’t have high expectations, and rightfully so. The room smelled like a smoker had been in there. The toilet had a ring like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. One bed had a cigarette burn hole on the comforter and the other bed had what looked to be a small blood stain on the underside of the comforter. There were hairs in the bathroom. « We spent the night to visit Pikes Peak Mountain. The owner at the reception is very smart and helpful. The room is very old-style but clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. The motel is very well situated, a few meters for the city center where you can go out for dinner. And the night is very quiet as there is no real activity around at night.
