« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« Great location, centrally located in the centre of Holmfirth. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed and a great Full English breakfast. I can highly recommend staying here, would happily stay again. Stones throw from great pubs and The Picturedrome. »
