'Very quirky hotel. Right in the centre and reasonably priced. Lovely spacious rooms and a very comfortable large bed. Breakfast was delicious. Well worth the stay and would definitely stay again.'

'Excellent breakfasts, the best scrambled eggs ever! The room was brilliant but ,would benefit from a small fridge. Great parking available. Only tiny negative was that there was no coat hangers in the room.'

'The room, bathroom and towels were spotless. Breakfast was beautiful. Great choices and very polite, pleasant staff. Music was playing in the breakfast room and whilst most of the songs were pleasant, some were a bit much and too loud for first thing in the morning. We would definitely return however. A very pleasant mini break. The hotel is central to everything with wonderful walks into Scarborough.'

'Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.'

'Brilliant location. Everything was in walking distance and the black information folder was invaluable. Whilst contact with Emma and Dave was through E- mails, ultimately there wasn't a problem because we didn't encounter any. Finally myself and wife found it to be excellent value for money.'

'Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything you needed. This hotel is room only. You have a key for the front door to come in and out and key for your room. There is a number to contact the owners but only saw them when checking in. Rooms provide tea/coffee and bottled water. It’s a no nonsense hotel which has everything you need in your room for your stay.'

'Only one criticism I have is about the parking .There are only 2 parking spaces at the B&B this only came to my attention when I had booked and received the welcome email/text .i was lucky while I was staying I managed to get one for the 3 days .Other than its a great place to stay very clean and well maintained .'
