« A perfectly and cleverly designed little flatlet type holiday apartment. Just what we needed for a two night stay in beautiful York. The location was brilliant and close to restaurants, bars, attractions, but still peaceful and quiet. « A much-needed and wonderfully relaxing stay at Hideaway Cottage. The cottage is a true hideaway, tucked away up a little lane with a beautiful little garden which was full of flowers. It was very peaceful, virutally all we heard was the sound of birds and church bells. Ampleforth was very quiet and the coffee shop was a stone's throw away serving fabulous breakfasts and afternoon teas.
