'This property was incredibly lovely. It is well outfitted and conveniently located. Everything is nice, new and sparkling clean. The host goes out of her way to make sure all you could possibly want is taken care of. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The best coffee I’ve had in Taiwan. It is within steps of the boat landing, the bike route and the cable car to the Formosa Village. The charm of this little hotel made going to Sun Moon Lake all the better. '

'We had a lovely stay. The couple running the hotel were very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and most of all the beautiful location of the hotel. It was an easy walk to the night market which had so many tasty treats. I'm the morning it was close to the lake to walk along the dock and see the sun rise. We loved it!'

'Very enjoyable stay on the Yidashao side of Sun Moon Lake. I had a room with no windows, but it was comfortable and well configured. The breakfast was pre-prepared for me with a wide variety of items (coffee, juice, congee, tofu, fruit, chicken nuggets, fries, salad, fried egg and smoked fish) it was like breakfast and lunch combined! There is limited staff present in the hotel during off hours though l, so don't expect to be able to check in early. Yidashao is a great little town with tons...

'Room was very clean except for the suede sofa (there were a few old stains on it). Staff was very friendly and made the check-in experience seamless. They offer free bug spray use in the lobby. Location was very convenient, we were just a few minutes walk away from Ita Thao pier for the ferry and restaurants/shops. 'Nice hotel on very good location: right on the lakeside. Nice view from the restaurant, complete breakfast. Free parking next to the hotel. Some negative points: the water in the indoor pool was very cold! We had a ground floor room, last one in the corridor, and there's a unit outside that's very noisy at night. If you're a light sleeper, I would avoid that room. We were also surprised that the knowledge of English of the staff was very basic ('we made a reservation' for example was not...

'Great customer service! They are very helpful to guests, and it is a unique guesthouse with lots of wood and art. It is right around the corner from the Sun Moon village night market. There are a few resort villages around the lake, but this one is the closest to the cable car that goes to the Aboriginal Culture Park. The cable car is walking distance (and worth the ride), but you can also rent bicycles or electric bicycles very affordably near the hotel and get around easily.'
