'We booked this hotel using hotel.com and as a silver member we did not receive the extra’s mentioned. There was also a mentioning of an outdoor pool but the hotel does not have an outdoor pool, so this is also very misleading. The fine dining restaurant Ken Chan supposedly has 3 Michelin stars but it has none, the food was bad and we left te restaurant very disappointing.'

'Room was very clean except for the suede sofa (there were a few old stains on it). Staff was very friendly and made the check-in experience seamless. They offer free bug spray use in the lobby. Location was very convenient, we were just a few minutes walk away from Ita Thao pier for the ferry and restaurants/shops. 'We had a lovely stay at this European-style hotel. The room was relatively spacious for a family, even with just two beds. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. While the location on the south side of the lake is a bit tucked away and takes more effort to reach, it is surrounded by a vibrant old street with plenty of life and things to do. '
