Pensions in Yamanakako

'The hosts were fantastic, plenty of parking free, common area with amenities, including swiss hot cocoa!! We met very interesting people there because you feel like at home. '

'The place is clean and nice. If you like the feeling of a sort of ryokan in the woods where deer walk through the garden, you might like it. Note that there are no staff on site and the only option to cook is a microwave. The place is best for people with their own transport who do not want to cook but want peace and quiet in a forest. It is up in the woods behind Yamanakako, further back than the map in Expedia makes it seem. If you find the Yamanakako Village Office on the map, trace west...

'Good serenity place! Thinking of coming back! We had a private room with futon. Zo nice to sleep on the ground, the traditional old way! The staff was also really nice! Thank you!'
