We always hire a car, so the remote location was fine for us, but I wouldn’t recommend this villa without transport. The communication and notices felt unwelcoming, parts of the listing were misleading. The villa listing suggests you get the full property, but the master bedroom with balcony (as shown in the listing photos) is locked and inaccessible, so the only good double room is downstairs. The alternative upstairs double is very small, with no space to comfortably move around the bed. The bunk room has a small balcony, but the door can’t be locked and there’s no curtain, so next door can see in. The bedroom had no sockets near the bed, and I had to run an extension lead across the floor for medical equipment. We paid 90 for pool heating, but the temp was under 20C and only usable from day 4 of our stay onwards, with no refund for lost days. The 300 deposit is taken 6wks before arrival and refunded up to a week after, we lost money due to exchange rate changes over those 6 weeks, In our view, the deposit should be taken on arrival and not held by the rental company for such a long time. On the positive side, the villa was very clean, the showers were excellent, and the kitchen was well equipped, the washing machine is in an outside cupboard behind drive. Parking is tight, and only the pedestrian gate code was provided before arrival, we found a fob inside the villa but no instructions for arrival by car. Many of the printed notices focused on penalties and fines.
