'We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. 'This was the perfect place for a long weekend away. The place was incredibly cozy, and provided a lovely place from rest and relaxation. The bathtub is AMAZING and the location was perfect - beautiful views all round, a lovely walk along a river, and a pub! It was nice to not be right in the centre of Bakewell but was still incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!'

'Excellent bungalow rob the owner very helpful. Would stay again. Large garden but a low wall near front gate so a dog called jump over on to busy road. But problem solved by putting dog on rope tied to tree trunk or bench plenty of equipment excellent heating.'

'Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter. Given it's a twenty minute walk into Cromford a few tea bags and milk would have been welcome when we got there. Wine nice touch, tea facilities essential. Yes we could have taken our own.. Warm , clean and very well equipped.Very close to the town for wandering to the shops, pubs etc. & opposite a lovely park and some great dog walks (we headed for the Monsal Trail)Super comfy beds and lovely en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.. always a big plus when there are lots in the group.
