'Nice people on the reception offering walking guides just to use as soon as we told we were planning to do some walking in the Lake District. The rooms were spaceous and very clean. In the morning on request freshly baken croissants or oatmeal During the evenings we used the DVD service for free. You can pick one and play a movie in the room.'

'We stayed the Lyndhurst for 6 nights. It is conveniently located and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Our room was small, but well maintained, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is on the street, but we usually were able to find a spot close by. We recommend this little gem.'

'Familiaal onthaal , zeer nette omgeving met parking achteraan . Zeer goed ontbijt , gevarieerde mogelijkheden . Goed advies voor de bezienswaardigheden en restaurants . Portinscale ligt op wandelafstand (20 min) van Keswick (een zeer aangenaam stadje met shopping mogelijkheden ). Keswick is minder druk dan de andere Lake District dorpen/steden (Ambelside en Windermere/Bowness. Is ook ideaal gelegen om het Lake District te bezoeken (dagtrips). '

'The hotel is a definite 11/10 it is stunning. The fact that it is only 2 minutes from the shops and 10 minutes walk to the lake makes it even better and the views are incredible. Breakfast was perfect as well and the staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.'
