« We had a really wonderful winter retreat at the Maverick, with its striking mid-century modern decor. Lots of toasty fires and appreciated the quiet, lovely property filled with the songs of woodpeckers and other birds. Henry is incredibly responsive and communicative. The house is up a steep hill which our 2-wheel drive rental car struggled up in the snow and ice - but we made it and plow trucks kept it clear during our stay. « The property was truly lovely and very completely outfitted. I was traveling with my mother and two nephews and unfortuntely we arrived during the dreadful heatwave that hit the northeast. The property was exactly as pictured and we had almost enough fans to cool the place down. The ceiling fans certainly helped but an ac unit on the first floor would have helped. No one could have known the heat would be this severe but a second ac unit would have helped. The het broke on day 3 of our four...
