'Maine has countless picture perfect harbors, but none surpass the natural beauty of Bunkers Harbor, located a few steps from the cabins screened porch. Bunkers Seafood Restaurant located next door, same proprietor, was great. The waitress even taught us how to eat whole boiled lobster. If you want the city excitement of Bar Harbor, you won't find it here, but if you are looking for REAL Maine, this is the spot. Schoodic Point offers better rocky coast access with very few people. 'We tried to contact the host about checking in a day early but never heard back. That was the only communication misstep we encountered. It was a neat experience for a night. It had everything as advertised, but it was very small.'

'I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though'
