'large room, friendly staff'

'Comfortable hotel just outside the centre, but with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby (I reccomend the coffe place on the corner of the main thoroughfare). The hotel is comfortable without being super luxurious, but there are two aspects where it really shines: the pool and the hotel staff. The pool is big enough to swim laps and the staff are among the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I've ever come across. '

Could been given a room at the inner court instead of the street side to our family with two small kids, barking dogs on the street near our room kept kids awake. Breakfast has a good selection but only filtered coffee is a no-go, no orange juice. Nice pool but jacuzzi’s did not work. Friendly staffed pool bar. Gym was fine.'

'Location of the hotel is perfect: close to the center of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. Rooms are clean and offer all comfort you would expect of a five star hotel. Japanese restaurant is very good, however, lunch at The Lotus restaurant isn't. Not only is the food not OK, the restaurant is too big and old-fashioned. Service is very good, very friendly staff.'

'Great stay at Sofitel for family of three. Staff were fantastic everywhere we went in the hotel. Concierge was great help in organizing tours of Ang Kor Wat etc. and shorter local trips that we went ourselves. Swimming pool was large and never crowded. Front desk always friendly. Great internet.
