'This property was absolutely perfect for our party of three. Walking distance to everything in Edenton. The inside was nice but when we were there spent most of our time on the front porch overlooking the park and sound'

'You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo...

'The photos don't lie, this place is pristine. Nice amenities were included. We typically bring things like aluminum foil, zip bags, etc , but the host thought of everything we might need. Very convenient. Easy to get to waterfront restaurant and bars, just 3 blocks away.'

'Our second stay and it was just as great as the first. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Not a cookie cutter rental! Beautiful private waterfront location. The Osprey nest was active with mom and a baby. Five families of geese sailed by almost every day. Kayaking here is superb. The hosts are easy to reach and extremely helpful. I can’t wait to come again next year!'

'Small flaw with entry lock. But problem resolved quickly. Did not drink coffee I brewed in coffee machine. There was a bug that was poured out. I’m sure bugs are common a everywhere. But otherwise an awesome place to stay. '

'An absolutely charming little house just as advertised. The AC upstairs worked very well. This little house had everything we need for our long weekend trip. They even left a gift basket full of delicious treats.'

'The Bungalow is well laid out, spacious, well furnished and in a fantastic location for exploring Edenton. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to be able to eat some of our meals at home. We enjoyed the little screened in porch, too. It is definitely a well designed living space and we hope to be able to come back for a longer visit sometime soon.'

'We were in the area to fish a Major League Fishing event on the Chowan River. The house and yard are very well maintained. The back porch has nice furniture, and a great view of the Sound. Beautiful sunsets! An added bonus was how friendly the neighbors on both sides are! Definitely plan to come back!'

'Loved the location, and the updated kitchen is a dream. We cooked a lot and we had access to everything we needed. Everything was well kept and clean, and the common areas were extra great for hanging out and relaxing. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Place is easy to find and has great views over the water. Communication with owners was easy and quick. We'd stay here again for sure.'
