'The Painted Pony is definitely the place you need when you want to get away and enjoy peace and quiet. The beautiful porch’s offer shade at all times of the day where you can sit and enjoy the quiet and nature sounds of the desert. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the pool is the best place at any time of day. Even my teenagers had a great time between the pool, the hot tubs, and the garage filled with activities. The Painted Pony truly offers something for everyone....

'This was an amazing property. Secluded enough for privacy and quiet reflection, but close to Oracle and Tuscon. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Saw a deer in the backyard, many, many, many hummingbirds and various bunnies and quail. Great communication with the owners. Would definitely recommend this property!'

'The property was absolutely beautiful and the hosts are amazing. The home has everything needed for your stay and very comfortable. The backyard provides privacy for outdoor barbecues or just to enjoy the porch. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Plenty of room for parking large vehicles. '

'Great property to get away from it all. The house was very clean and surprisingly big. The kids loved watching all the birds coming in to the feeders and walking around looking for lizards. You can't beat the mountain views at sunrise and sunset. Perfect base for exploring the Portal/Rodeo area.'

'We had a short two night stay Hummingbird Ranch timed to view the winter residency of the Sandhill Cranes. This is wonderfully appointed, comfortable, private getaway on 25 acres of Sonoran Desert, adjacent to both wetlands where the Sandhill Cranes winter (Willcox Playa and Whitewater Draw). The owners were very supportive and we enjoyed communicating the Renee. She gave us much great advice for enjoying our stay. The night sky was spectacular! 'My mom and I came from Texas to host a baby shower and stayed at the Bird House—it was the perfect getaway. The home is beautifully decorated, solidly built, and very peaceful. 'My friends and I went for the weekend for wine tasting. The house was very clean and accommodating. Extremely well organized. It was very enjoyable having coffee on the back patio in the morning. And it was fairly close to the wineries or tasting rooms. It was very comfortable for four people Who wanted separate accommodations. We would absolutely go back and stay.'
