'Great safe location and wonderful experience'

'Beautiful location. It’s in the heart of Columbia but tucked away perfectly for a nice retreat. Right by a nice trail. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Pool closes kind of early so make sure you pay attention to the time. Restaurant was worth every penny. Beds were nice. Loved the personalized touch with the tv having my name on it.'

'I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that.'

'We had such a wonderful stay at The Inn at Mary’s Land Farm and would absolutely come back. We came from Southern California and stayed here in between DC and Manhattan while in town for my son’s lacrosse tournament, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. 'The hotel was clean and maintained well. Hotel rooms were very nice and included full fridge, microwave, stove, etc. It had a feel of an apartment style hotel. We were provided with good customer service. Only suggestion is to sanitize/deodorize hotel elevator. It has an unpleasant odor in there.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. 'We stayed here for 3 nights, arrived with a late night flight from Las Vegas at Baltimore Washington Airport. Only a 15 minutes cardrive from the airport, and a 40 minutes cardrive to Washington DC. For 4 persons we had two suites reserved at a very reasonable price. Both room were equiped with a kitchen, small living room, bedroom with a double bed and batch room. 'The staff, room, bed, and cleanliness were absolutely top-notch. However, the breakfast experience was just okay and a bit chaotic. The atmosphere was loud, with one guest sitting next to us on a speakerphone call for his entire meal, and another family allowing their child to run wild while repeatedly saying 'no.' A little more enforcement of common courtesy would make breakfast much more enjoyable.'
