'We had a wonderful 3 nights stay. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely setting at the restaurant to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom. It was quiet and cool so barely needed to use the AC. But what made it such a wonderful place to stay were the amazing staff, who were so friendly and helpful they truly made our stay very special. Can’t wait to stay again. '

'We enjoyed Boschendal again this year after having stayed there during peak COVID times in 2021. The concept is great and well executed. The liveliness of the winery really ads to the experience especially during Saturday picknicks and the Friday night market. Our daughter loved the large playground. Having visited all the top hotels in the wine lands (Delaire, Leeu etc.) We can honestly say we liked the breakfast best at Boschendal'

'We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!'

'Een absolute aanrader. Wij hadden een privé appartement op een andere locatie. 100 meter lopen van de hoofdstraat van Franschhoek. Een super mooi appartement. Ontbijt hadden wij op de hoofdlocatie. 'Out of this world quality. With a sincere, warmer than warm welcome, we were shown into our one bedroom villa. Sounds pokey?? Don’t you believe it. Kitchen, two lounge areas, wood burning fire, study, balcony, main bathroom and guest WC. A total of 26 chairs between the two of us. Everything really high quality. The housekeeping team were first class. They even went to the trouble of emptying the washing machine and hanging out/folding our clean clothes. Franschhoek itself is a haven...
