'Familiaal onthaal , zeer nette omgeving met parking achteraan . Zeer goed ontbijt , gevarieerde mogelijkheden . Goed advies voor de bezienswaardigheden en restaurants . Portinscale ligt op wandelafstand (20 min) van Keswick (een zeer aangenaam stadje met shopping mogelijkheden ). Keswick is minder druk dan de andere Lake District dorpen/steden (Ambelside en Windermere/Bowness. Is ook ideaal gelegen om het Lake District te bezoeken (dagtrips). '

'Stayed here for two nights with my friend while hiking in the area. Friendly and lovely place. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view over the garden and mountains beyond.
