'The room was clean and the breakfast was good
The only issue was the stairs to the room as our room was on the 3 floors there were a lot of stairs to climb and we both OAP which was very tiring.
On the hold it was a good experience but we would not stay again due to the stairs.'

'The room was quite clean and the instructions to enter the property were quite clear. Parking can be a little tricky as it gets filled up during night time outside the property. However, there are options to park your car nearby.
Overall, the stay was great as the room was comfortable and clean with a great view.'

'Lovely room with lakeside view; beware it is uphill to walk up to the Lakehouse, this didn't bother us however. Easy to check in at the Waterhead Inn which is just accross the road. Breakfast was your standard fare but tasty. Helpful staff. Stayed 2 nights.'

'Excellent hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, a fan in the room to help with the hot weather. Good tea and coffee.
Free parking and a great view of the Lake, close to Ambleside and from the room the mountains were clearly visible. Fantastic!!'

'We were returning customers to Low wood bay @ the winander club. We were slightly disappointed to see that spa access was no longer included in Winander rooms but it is a beautiful spa, so we paid the extra £140. We were disappointed to find out if you wanted to borrow some slippers for the spa, they were also chargeable now. And on check out I was very shocked to see they were also now charging £12 per day to park your car if you hadn’t booked directly with them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed...

'Lovely 3 story cottage with lots of space. So close to Ambleside centre but so quiet! Amazing walks for dogs within 5 minutes of the property which was great. Gorgeous views too from top bedroom in particular. Would definitely stay again.'

'Lovely historic property- complete with all the quirks such as uneven floors, log burner, and a lovely wooden staircase. Great location to get into town too, and really quiet and peaceful at night. I had a lovely break here with my partner, felt like a proper escape.'
