'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'A Murphy bed? Are you kidding me? We drove 8 hours, paid how much, only to find out we had to pull down a Murphy bed with some CRAPPY memory foam mattress and make up the bed. And NO AC!!!! They lock the temperature at 70 and leave some note saying that if you tamper with it, there is some big fine. We are supposed to sleep in 70 degrees? But they even have a fan, obviously knowing it needs AC. No AC in Bend, Oregon. It was 88 degrees out. So then, a restaurant? Oh that would mean a half...

'The only thing we struggled with was the noise. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything the neighbors are doing. Below, in the surf shop, there was a lot of weird random thumping between 10pm-1am both nights we stayed. Pretty annoying. Other than that, the place was fine. '
