'Good and great price'

'I'm sad to say that this hotel was pretty awful. After staying at this property for 50 years while visiting family, I won't go back. Unfortunately basic maintenance isn't a priority. The first room I was in had an area by the sink where the floor had been removed and a board & carpet placed on top. The board was not sturdy. Dangerous. The door sweep was laying next to the door. 'Not enough outlets or close enough to the bed for somebody traveling with a CPAP machine and a phone that is an alarm. Luckily, I had long cords. Outlet was coming out of the wall. Normally, I leave my electronics plugged in, but not here. Someone needs to fix that. Room 111. No breakfast to speak of, so I can tell why it's so d*** cheap. You get what you pay for.'

'Before the fire a few years ago, and I am assuming new ownership, this hotel used to be a really nice place to stay! Now it's half the original price more, no more coffee pots in room and no more breakfasts. After checking in, I was informed that they do not supply drain stoppers (for bathtub), as too many people have overflowed the tubs. Upon prodding, the front desk person finally brought me a drain stopper, but it didn't work in this particular tub. The refrigerator had seen better days and...

'Nice clean room. One of the few motels that still has smokingrooms. Just ask for one when you book a room. '

'Room was clean, smelled nice, and was comfortable with lots of space. Great water pressure in the shower and perfect water temperature. The motel was quiet. Will definitely be staying here again.'

'Although the room & bathroom were clean, when we entered the room upon arrival, a very unpleasant sewage odor was present. This odor was corrected by an air freshner my husband found in the exercise room. The curtains need to be replaced as the backing was deteriorating allowing streetlight & am sunlight to filter through. The beds were very comfortable; the linen & towels were adequate. The staff was very cordial & parking was adequate. The breakfast offered was limited.'

'This is an older property but it is being well maintained and you get a nightly stay price that is a bargain in comparison to other Colby. They also provided a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links, two kinds of cold cereal, cinnamon rolls, and milk. The only thing lacking for me was some orange juice but I will definitely stay here again when I come out to help the school district. The shower was great and had strong water pressure.
