'Nice Inn for a short stay in Canterbury. Good food, great breakfast. '

'Lekker in het centrum van gelegen. Winkels en alles op loopafstand. Goe ontbijt, wel wat druk op het moment dat wij er waren maar prima verzorgt. We rekening houden dat je het niet met de auto kan bereiken en dat je elders moet parkeren.'

'Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.'

'We had a wonderful stay here. The staff understands hospitality and will make you feel right at home. Our room was clean and spacious as well as extremely comfortable. We will stay again if we return to Dover'

'charmante locatie, loopafstand naar het centrum en de kathedraal. Inhet weekend wordt het hotel gebruikt voor familiefeestjes'

'Ideal if you arrive in the UK late or are leaving the next morning. Entrance to room via a code given before arrival. Room very basic, but even my wife (who often complains about rooms being too small or uncomfortable) thought this a nice local hotel to stay. Pub below is a nice place to have dinner/breakfast. Personnel very friendly. We’ll go there again in the future'

'Great place. Would stay there again anytime!'

'Mooie locatie en authentiek gebouw. Heerlijk eten en zeer behulpzaam vriendelijk personeel.'

'Had taken this hotel as an emergancy due to car breaking down on first day of the holiday, checking in to a motorway hotel I normally avoid due to noise. But I was surprised, this hotel very quite no noise at night. The managers/owners and I believe thir family made us very welcome and assisted finding a fix for the car. The breakfast room was run like a well oiled machine and something you would normally see in a top tier restaurant. I can d nothing but highly recomend this hotel to anybody in...

'Despite an excellent location just next to the entrance to the cathedral, this hotel is another of those run-down, bleak firetraps from way back in the last century. You know it's old as soon as you climb the narrow stairs to the tiny reception area and notice the grimy carpet and chipped woodwork. Getting to your room involves climbing meandering stairs that go one way, up another short flight of stairs, and then still in another direction. (There is no lift.) My room had a nice bed but little...

'The White Horse Inn is an attractive hotel in a convenient location, with the added benefit of ample free parking. Sadly, however, the hospitality did not match the charm of the property. Hotels of this kind usually stand out because of their warm, personal welcome. Here, the opposite was true. The reception was reserved and unwelcoming, and communication was kept to the bare minimum. Sunday lunch was the highlight of my stay: fresh, flavoursome and very enjoyable. As a result, and having read...

'Very friendly staff'

'Als je samen in je kamer komt kom je niet meer bij zo klein😆 maar het is super schoon en alles past precies het hotel ligt echt aan zee en heeft overheerlijk ontbijt, restaurant en pub. Stadje ligt ietsje verderop en is ook supergezellig met restaurantjes en barretjes met op vrijdag veel live muziek.'

'The only thing that could have been better was the lack of info about RingGo to pay for the parking in advance. Installing the app, coming from abroad, proved far from easy.'
