I stayed for 4 nights. Every day that I returned to my hotel, I would take the elevator up to the 4th floor where my room was located and my room keys would not work. Every night I would have to go back to the front desk to get my keys recoded. Keep in mind I work long hours, carry a heavy backpack, and I'm tired when I return.
The first 2 nights the woman who was working the front desk would program my keys but not say a word when she handed them back to me. No apology. No explanation.
The third night a guy was working the front desk. He programmed my keys but was friendly. He told me with a smile if I needed anything else to let him know.
The fourth night a different woman was working. I told her I needed my keys programmed and that I had come down every night during my stay to get them reprogrammed. I said "this must be an ongoing issue." She said "not an issue." I asked "so what is the problem?" She said in a matter of fact tone "if you're gone all day you have to stop at the front desk to get them reprogrammed." I said, "really, no one has told me that." She said "nobody's told you that?" I said, "no, you are the first one." Again, no apology, no show of concern for my inconvenience.
My door to my room didn't have a door closer and the door hit the door jamb so you had to forcibly open and close the door. The rooms are in pretty bad condition for the money I paid for the room. I travel to West Palm Beach regularly for work and will not be staying there again.
