8/10 Bien

Les points forts : Propreté, personnel et service, équipements et infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
Usually as long as the room is clean, and spacious enough for my husband and me, I give 5 stars. The Travelodge, however, did not have a staff. The office was at the Baymont across the street. Strange. 1st time ever, 2 hotels, 1 check-in location. I would have preferred to stay at the Baymont. I asked for a room on ground floor, so we did not have to take luggage upstairs. The woman (very nice) was looking thoroughly on her computer, like they might not have a room downstairs. When we drove to our room the parking lot had ONE CAR besides our own. The next morning a few people were walking around (without cars?). Are they long-term residents, without cars? Unsure whether they were doing renovations, or what was the mystery. I could have read reviews, and they might answer my questions? Nothing in particular why I gave overall 4 stars not 5, but it was not a top-tier extra clean hotel. Always nice to have a lower price, though.

1. Had to go across the street to register at The Baymont. Should have been noted on Expedia, would have been a red flag. 2. Exterior was dirty and worn. Needs a Power wash for the entire building. 3. First Room was clean, with one broken light. However there was an atrocious stink in the room. I sprayed foot spray all over did not help. I tried to live with it but made me nauseous. Moved to a second room. It too was very clean the smell was a little better. But no coffee pot and TV did not work. Had to mess around with it to get it turned on. Then the volume did not work. Gave up when message said to call front desk. I called front desk atcThe Baymont to change room and the staff was great. This hotel should not be on Expedia. The price I paid was near the same for The new Baymont.
