'Very comfortable stay & a friendly atmosphere. A fabulous homemade granola, fruit & yoghurt bowl for our breakfast. Plenty of other choices, but we went for it each morning. Hope to be back next year at the same time to meet with friends for The Veteran-Cycle Club Luncheon.'

'When I eventually managed to check in I found that my room smelt funny. The windows were open so I guessed that the smell may have come from the outside. There was no staff at the guest house for me to speak to. When I returned to the room after getting some food I found that the smell was coming from the damp mattress and the smell I believed was urine. I rung the contact number I had, but nobody answered. There was no staff at the venue. It was too late to go anywhere else so I ended up...

'I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be used by the council to house individuals with drug and alcohol issues, which created an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment. There were visible burn marks on tables consistent with drug use, and noise levels were high at all hours of the day and night. Local businesses even confirmed this is an ongoing issue. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to relax or get proper rest, and I would not choose to stay here again.'
