'My family and I have been traveling to the Lakes Region for 30+ years and have somehow never stumbled across Cold Spring Resort. I am so glad that we discovered it, as we enjoyed every bit of it. The unit that we stayed in was perfect for our family of five (two adults and three small children). The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated all of our needs. 'My family spent a couple days at this charming cabin as described close to several ski resorts. Due to arctic temperatures and blasting winds we ended up spending more time inside the cabin than on the slopes. Nevertheless we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The host was very pleasant and responsive. We would love to return another winter.'

'There was a power outage, The night before our stay and Jenn, keep me up-to-date on the power outage. When the power came back on,she called and let me know!!! The cabin And the property was very beautiful. The cabin was perfect for a getaway in the mountains. Listening to Christmas music and a fire, can’t get any romantic than that!!! And there is so much to do in the area. Sunset Hill was the perfect spot to see all the mountains in their beauty and the Basin, in Fronia notch state Park....

'The property is nicely located for visiting surrounding hiking trails and points of interest .We visited some great local restaurants and shops and went on The Cog Railway, which was wonderful! The house is comfortable and nicely furnished, and the hot tub was a big hit! There were thoughtful little surprises waiting for us, and Abbey and her team were quick to answer any questions before and during the trip. Thanks so much for everything!'

'We had a wonderful experience renting this property. The community center was beautiful and we loved rhe pool and the restaurant had great food and drinks! The house was clean and set up beautifully for our arrival. We were provided everything we needed and fresh towels were left on every bed. We absolutely loved the quiet and relaxing wooded environment as well as our 2 dogs. We would definitely rent again. '

'Absolutely perfect! Great location. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Plenty of room for our family and outdoor space for kids to play. Host replaced gas grill within an hour of us letting them know it wasn’t cooking properly. Loved screened in porch for relaxing and for storing all our outdoor equipment. We will definitely be back!'

'Perfectly clean and everything worked. Lights a little tricky to figure out. No dishwasher and could use places to hang up towels. Some poison ivy outside. Other than that, it was a nice, quiet, well-kept place, pleasantly decorated, exactly as advertised. Nice area, too.'

'Four of us stayed here for a weekend. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub was nice. A very windy uphill road to get there. It's close enough to shopping.'

'Stayed with family for a hike up in the whites. Perfect place for a stay. Were able to cook a nice meal in the kitchen without issue. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Would definitely recommend.'

'Everything was exactly as expected except the fire pit seems stationary on the far back lawn instead of portable. Gas grill could use updating (left burner wouldnt light) and a good cleaning or new grate to cook food on. Overall great experience on our one night stay!'

"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
