'We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return. '

'Een sfeervolle woning met gezellige tuin, waarin je nog heerlijk van de zon kan genieten. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, inclusief vaatwasser en wasmachine. De omgeving is geweldig voor wandelen. De eigenaresse gaf zeer uitgebreide informatie om de omgeving te verkennen.'

'Lovely 1st floor flat, very close to the beach with easy beach access which was what we wanted. The flat is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we were very happy there was a large fan keeping us cool as it was a hot week! The beds are nice and comfortable, bathroom is large and modern, living room has digital tv and wifi. The host was easy to communicate with and left lots of DVD's to watch if we wanted. We appreciated the welcome package of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and chocolate!...

'We had a lovely stay here, was perfect with the playground on the doorstep and the summer house. My daughter loved it! The pool was perfect too and was a good way to spend the afternoon. Next to our lodge is a field perfect for catching the last hour on golden sunrays. Our host was very friendly and helpful, we certainly hope to come again in the future!'

'Jolly lovely overall. Thank you.Only tricky thing the car parking space not simple for a Landrover Discovery.Very comfortable, wonderful outlook and thoroughly enjoyed the stay with my dogs who also enjoyed pottering aroung the interedting garden.Thank you.'

Fisherman's Cot, Tiverton by Marston's Inns

"De kamers lagen in bijgebouwen t.o.v. de pub/restaurant, dit maakt het direct wat rustiger in de omgeving. De douche was goed. De kamer zelf was ruim en het derde bed was ook een boxspring i.p.v. een bijzetbed of een slaapbank wat wij gewend zijn. Dit is echt prettig voor een verblijf van een week. De ligging naast de rivier is prachtig. Wel verwarrend was dat wij dachten dat het hotel in Tiverton zelf lag en niet in een klein plaatsje (Bickley) ernaast, maar als je met eigen auto gaat is dit geen probleem."
