'Het motel is mooi gelegen aan de rivier. Er staan tafels en stoelen zodat je buiten kan zitten met zicht op de rivier. Er is ook een bbq die je mag gebruiken. De goedkoopste kamers zijn proper maar wel basic: een goede douche en airco, maar geen ijskast en microgolf.'

'Great views from the picture windows and porch of our waterfront cabin. The included bundle of firewood was a plus. The only negative was not being able to use the hot tub right upon opening time at 9:30 am which cut enjoyment of that feature down a lot. My boyfriend is a huge hot tub lover and we had to hurry to check out by 11:00am. The beds, linens and pillows were all really nice! Overall the property is just what it reports and I would likely book here again. '

'The view is amazing. Each day we saw seals swim by. There is a resident eagle who would sit out on the sand right outside the window. Our grandson watched him dive and get a fish. What a thrill. We found sea glass and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Maria our host was attentive and very helpful. Definitely met all expectations.'

'Like others have said, small but cozy, large yard with firepit and covered back porch. Quiet neighborhood. Love the private trail to the beach. Grandson absolutely loved the bunnies. Nice it had the a RV hook up, my kids just got a new one and wanted to be able to stay also. Small, cozy and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very thoughtful execution at every nook and cranny by the owners. 'Quaint, quiet, secluded, and peaceful... The perfect place to unplug and enjoy the relaxed pace of "island time". Soaking in the private hot tub under the stars is absolutely amazing! We always travel with our dog, Penny. It's often difficult to find places that accept pets; so, this cabin is a true gem! Lorry is a great host who truly wants you to enjoy your stay. 'We really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the decor and the beds were very comfy. We only had a few notes on things like cleanliness and broken furniture (an easy fix if there would have been basic tools available). Dogs are welcome here, which is wonderful, but there was quite a lot of dog hair present in one of the beds, which made us feel like the sheets weren't changed. We just did that ourselves. The fridge/freezer also had dog hair in it (which wasn't very clean besides the dog hair). The...

'Nelson base camp is unique in its layout, lots of history displayed throughout. Host provided comforts for us, including the wood ready for the fire, hot tub with plenty of towels. We rally enjoyed our stay!'
