'It was a great stay. The only thing I don't like is every single staff member kept asking me about my plans. What brings me to Portland? What have I done? What am I going to do? Etc. Etc. I do not like being asked about my plans, it's my business, and I don't want to discuss my plans with strangers. '

'Staff were amazing. Very friendly and when I realized my already parked car had my charger in it, one of the Valets retrieved it and then apologized for taking a whole 15 min to bring it to me. Mind you, this was during prime checkin time. Great staff. Room was spacious and immaculate. Highly recommend! '

'I enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express for the breakfast amenity as it helps save on spending too much. This was my mom and I’s first time visiting Portland, OR. The area is nice and quiet 10min away from downtown. Parking is great, they have self parking which is free on top but once it gets filled you’ll have to park in the garage which is $20 a night. Overall great experience, will definitely be booking again! '

'Place was quiet and very peaceful. A few things to be aware of: 1) You cannot just walk in the front door. You would need to ring a bell and a front desk person needs to be present to unlock it. Once you checked in, you can use your room key to unlock the front door on your own. 2) Password for WiFi isn't stated anywhere. Ask the front desk for the WiFi password. 3) No toothbrush/toothpaste. Bring your own or buy some from a convenience store nearby.'
