The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. 'We were a group of three families (plus a dog) and the house and gardens were phenomenal. The kitchen and the secret garden were our main areas for convening. All facilities were great, and as an avid cook, the kitchen set up and equipment was top notch. '

'Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.'

'The cottage was exactly what we had hoped for. Placed at a beautiful location in the hills of Hope Value. It is at the foot of a nice walk to Win Hill. The swimming pool was heated, and the wifi worked well. The location is a little remote from the village, so we used the car for shopping.'

'Nice cosy retreat for 2 + little furry friend. Compact, but we knew it would be, and extremely well designed. Lots of lovely extras to add to the welcome and it was very clean, well set out, parking provided for nearby. No garden (again, we knew this) but lovely views out of the windows and walks from doorstep instantly available. Lovely main fire (not really needed as it happens) and good shower. Open stairs not an issue for man nor beast! Manageable, practicable and comfortable. Perfect small...
