Oceanfront Maalaea Kai 214 Relaxing Resort with Great View!

  • Rustig gelegen in het hart van Ma'alaea, nodigt de oceaan Ma'alaea Kai # 214 u uit om te ontspannen en rond te hangen in het resort, terwijl de centrale ligging en de nabijheid van hoofdwegen u uitnodigen om naar alle punten Maui te reizen! De unit heeft een queensize bed, slaapbank, complete badkamer en keuken, waardoor het comfortabel is voor vier gasten. De luxe gerenoveerde keuken is volledig uitgerust - je moet proberen je pupu prep (voorgerechten) en kookgerechten op het eiland zelf te proberen. Als je liever grilt, ga dan naar de BBQ-gebieden, waar het een echte traktatie is om samen met andere gasten 'praatverhaal' te ontmoeten, voordat je teruggaat om te dineren op je Lanai. Het uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf daar is buitengewoon. Dit apparaat heeft centrale AC, kabel-tv, high-speed internet en WIFI-alle complementaire (zoals toegewezen parkeerplaats). De centrale wasserette, lift en karren voor bagage en boodschappen maken het alledaagse handiger.

    Buiten is een verwarmd zwembad, twee BBQ / picknickplaatsen en lounge stoelen die premier zitplaatsen bieden voor wat er gebeurt in de baai: havenboten, roeiers, surfers en de cyclus van zonsopkomsten erover en zonsondergangen erin. Het rifgebied voor het resort is de thuisbasis van Hawaiiaanse zeeschildpadden; endemisch voor Hawai'i, deze oude luchtademende reptielen gaan 150 miljoen jaar terug - en wegen in op 150 tot 400 pond per stuk - geweldig! Een andere prachtige natuurervaring omvat de winterterugkeer van bultruggen naar onze beschermde wateren - ze reizen 3.500 mijl om hun grote baby's te baren (ongeveer 12 voet lang, 2.000 pond wegen), dan verzorgen en verzorgen totdat het tijd is om terug te gaan naar Alaska in april. Je kunt ze vanuit dit apparaat zien!

Close to Harbor, and restaurants and shopping. It is walking distance. Worst thing was narrow parking spaces

There was dirty water pooling by the front door that got tracked in every time we entered the condo. The rooms were neat and beds were made with clean linens but the bathroom and kitchen were not cleaned. Cleaning supplies were available so once I cleaned them, the condo was really nice. I would stay here again if the cleaning services improved.

Can't beat the views, nice pool, huge lawn with room to explore the shoreline at the edge. Saw several turtles just steps away from us, nibbling from the rocks in the water.The decor was nice, clean, and in great condition. The location was excellent, with a nice little group of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only complaint is that the parking spaces are extremely tight. Don't rent a large vehicle, or you'll be parking it on the street (which is fine).

The view from this condo is incredible- oceanfront with some local turtles and surfers to view everyday. I loved the quiet area. The distance from the car to the elevator and elevator to door was very doable for my handicapped mother, but front door was very heavy and hard to handle, toilet was pretty low to ground and shower is not easy for older folks to get in and out (for those who are limited mobility). Again, the view is second to none so that makes up for a lot!

Wake up to drink coffee on the lanai every morning and watch the sun rise. It’s centrally located to all points you may want to visit on Maui. The condo is sufficiently furnished with all supplies you may need such as towels, sheets, kitchen ware, even sunscreen and sand mats and beach chairs. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Whale Watching Heaven!

We were there in February and whales could be seen almost constantly from the lanai. It was so much fun! The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with cooking supplies. The location was PERFECT. We stayed in Lahaina on our first Maui trip, but this location was our favorite. Close to great beaches, food, hikes, and water excursions. The property grass area overlooking the ocean is really nice as well (complete with beach chairs to relax on.)CONS: No A/C in the bedroom. (It wasn’t crazy hot outside during our mid-winter visit, so the room didn’t get super hot. BUT the sheets are microfiber and trap the heat in terribly, which made nights pretty warm. We used the stand up fan in the hallway to circulate the air from the living room A/C though, which made it tolerable. Better sheets could help this issue, and a bedroom A/C would solve the problem.Overall, we had a very positive experience staying here. We would recommend it to friends (as long as they are okay with sleeping a little warm at night).

Short stay

The property was located in a nice area, with beach side view. We were unfortunately to be there when the water heater gave out. With the great help from Cristina she was able to get us a different condo with also a great view and nice location. The moving of our stuff was not fun but we were ok with it. Nice place but unable to enjoy it due to situation.

Such a peaceful place. Walking distance to restaurants and a couple of shops plus the harbor. We loved the whale watching … thank you for having binoculars to use. Great vacation!

Maalaea Bay Vacation

Fabulous view of the bay and Haleakala, also beautiful grounds and pool area. Location is pretty central; close to Kihei and Lahaina. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Central location with a Great view!

Overall was good. Location was central to everything to drive to which was nice. The view was amazing, but does get quite windy. The unit could use a bit of updating - The bed needs to be replaced. My husband slept on the couch cause the bed dipped so bad. We got to see lots of great fireworks for new years across the bay just sitting on the lawn. Lots of space to relax in the lawn with chairs, and the pool was a good size. Quite at night, great place to watch the stars.
