Waena Inn offers a comfortable and authentic Maui lodging experience in the historic town of Wailuku. Our property features private studio-style suites, each thoughtfully designed for simplicity, convenience, and value. With units approximately 300 sq. ft., guests may choose between ground-level rooms with 9 ft. ceilings or upstairs rooms with 12 ft. ceilings for an open and airy feel. ADA-accessible units and additional bedding options are available to accommodate a variety of travel needs.

What makes Waena Inn special is its central location and local character. Just 8–12 minutes from OGG Kahului Airport and 5–10 minutes from Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kaiser, and other medical facilities, our inn is especially appreciated by traveling nurses, visiting families, business guests, and travelers who want easy access to explore the island. Uncle Tony and his staff are incredibly helpful. The units are spotless and have everything you could need. The location is very central and a super short drive from the airport. The price is reasonable and they are super accommodating and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend staying at Uncle Tony’s. I hope to go back!

The area is in the old part of Maui so you need a car to get around. It is located near many nice areas and wonderfull beaches. Uncle Tony and the staff are so welcoming and efficient. They have a lot if beach stuff at your disposal chairs, cooler, small surf boards. Room was perfect and communication was excellent.

The units are very, very clean. Uncle Tony and the other employees are very nice and helpful. The little kitchenette is stocked with everything you may need, including plug-in skillets and griddles, coffee maker, cups, dishes and utensils. Located in an industrial area but very centrally located to airport, shopping. Price is comparable to low end hotels that are not as nice. Highly recommended.
