'We loved the modern cabin and its amenities. Convenient location only 3 miles from Volcano National Park. Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic. But you also hear frogs and birds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would book again! '

'It was absolutely amazing. An incredible peaceful setting. It was like being alone in a tree house in a tropical forest. It was very kid friendly with games and puzzles. The hosts were amazing. Very unobtrusive but very available for any needs. Location was very close to volcano national park and very convenient. Definitely recommend for a stay near volcano national forest.'

'Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!'

'This was a great Hawaiian home! It was cute & unique. My kids loved it. We ate meals and lounged on the porch daily. Everyone loved the outdoor showers. Highly recommend for those looking to immerse themselves in the Hawaiian vibe!'

'It’s in an unpaved road it looks really runs down like they made huts/rooms on a piece of land the pools looks unsanitary when I first looked at the picture for an entire unit it looked like I was getting everything in one house all connected but it’s not this place is like a community use and very private at all'

'This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The...

'Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. '

'The place was beautiful and so clean! It was small, but seemed spacious enough and was nice and private. It also had everything you’d need to keep groceries and cook a meal since it’s a bit of a jaunt to “civilization.” Keith was friendly when you’d see him around, but not super responsive to messages. '

'Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs'
